Social Media, Marketing, and Website Intern
The Rankin College of Business is looking to hire an intern with a strong understanding of the digital medial landscape, including various social media platforms. The intern will work closely with our Social Media Coordinator, helping them gather content and graphics and update pages on the website, and help with other marketing for RCB events and student organizations.
The intern hired for this position will need to have strong time management skills and be able to work independently and creatively. This position will be for fall 2022 and spring 2023, if available could start in summer 2022.
Responsibilities:
· Update Website
· Coordinate with the Social Media coordinator for social media content
· Editing photos and videos
· Prepare posters and other marketing materials
· Promote and support the Let’s Talk Careers Podcast
Requirements
· Marketing/Business or Mass communication major
· Experience with Internet and social media platforms
· Prefer completed Web development class
· Prefer completed or enrolled in Social Media class
· Energetic, creative, strong communication skills

Podcast Host
The Rankin College of Business is looking for a few good podcast hosts. These students will work closely with our Podcast Coordinator helping them plan, interview, and edit podcasts for the Rankin College of Business Let’s Talk Careers Podcast.
Students selected for this position will need to have strong time management skills and be able to work independently and creatively. This will be a for fall 2022. If interested, summer 2022 is also a possibility. Students will be expected work on the project 2 hours a week designated at the beginning of the semester.
Podcast Responsibilities:
· Assist in programming planning by researching stories, sources and potential guests
· Search out and contact potential interviewees.
· Plan and carry out interview.
· Balance audio and edit content for accuracy and brevity
· Add music and sponsor messaging as needed
· Create previews of episodes for marketing purposes
· Maintain show production and marketing calendar
Requirements
· Marketing- Media or other Business major
· Excellent writing, editing, research, and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to accept and implement feedback and edits form team members
· Energetic, creative, strong communication skills
