Magale Library Online Collections Login Information

Magale Library’s online collections use the same login information as mySAU and Blackboard.

1. First, select the link to the resource from the library’s website (it will be to Magale Library’s collection and usually different than from a Google or other search engine).
2. The resource will begin to open. If a Magale Library login screen appears, you will enter your usual login information for mySAU/Blackboard:
   • If it has only one box on the screen, it is asking for your username.  This username is the same username you use for mySAU and Blackboard.  It will look like IAStudent1234. (This is the information located at the beginning of your SAU email address.)
   • If the screen has two boxes and is asking for a username and password, this is the same username and password you use for mySAU and Blackboard.
3. Once you have entered your login information, the Magale Library database or ebook collection should appear.

Forgot Your SAU Username or Password?

mySAU provides access to most online services including Blackboard, student e-mail, mySAU, and the library’s electronic resources. Usernames:  Students may obtain their username by selecting mySAU from the “Quick Links” on the SAU homepage. Once at the mySAU webpage, select “View My Login Information” and submit your request. Typically, the username is the first and middle initial, last name, and an assigned four-digit number.   (i.e., IAStudent1234). Passwords: If you are unsure of your password, you may reset it using the “I forgot my password.”
