Access to Electronic Resources

Magale’s Library Catalog helps users locate items in the library while the Search Electronic Collections tool helps users locate items in research databases and digital libraries.
If you are on campus, click on (or mouse-over) Databases by Title or E-Journals by Title in the drop-down menu at the top of any library web page. If you are off-campus, you will be prompted for a user name and password after clicking on the database you have selected. Enter your network computer login (the login Technology Services assigned to you for access to campus computers and to Blackboard). Off-campus access to databases is only available to SAU students, faculty, and staff. Learn more by watching our video tutorial: Electronic Resources: How to Find E-Books, E-Articles, Videos, & Other Materials within Magale’s Electronic Collections
If you are a new student, or you have never used your network login before, you will need to contact Technology Services (870-235-4083) to get login information. If you have forgotten your login, you may contact the Circulation Desk (870-235-4170) or Technology Services. Your network login will give you access to most databases without needing additional passwords. If you time-out of a database, or if you close your browser, you may need to login again.

Users may receive assistance locating items within the library, including the Reserves Collection by inquiring at the Checkout Desk located on Magale’s second floor.
Check-Out Policies
Requirements
