Jonathan Baird CFP® practices as a wealth manager for Mustard Seed Wealth Management. He is also chief financial officer of Peoples Bank and author of CFO Dad: How to Lead Your Family to Financial Freedom and Security. He lives in Magnolia, Arkansas, with his wife Emily and five children, Addie, Piper, Haddon, Josiah and Judah.
He graduated from SAU in 2001 with a BBA in Marketing and then added a finance degree in 2010. He obtained a Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky in 2005. He met the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planning Professional™ in 2007 and recently met the requirements of the Cryptocurrency Certification Consortium’s (C4) Certified Bitcoin Professional designation. Some of his awards include: Arkansas Business CFO of the Year for Small Banks (2013), Distinguished Young Alumni for SAU (2016), and Arkansas Business 40 under 40 (2016).
He has been highly involved in his community through the Chamber of Commerce and Magnolia Economic Development Council, past board member of Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center, and currently is a board member of the Magnolia Regional Medical Center. He is highly involved at Wyatt Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon, stewardship committee member and Sunday school teacher.
His hobbies include: fishing, golfing, poker playing and podcasts.
