- Participation is at your own risk.
- The Mulerider Activity Center Staff is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Please secure all your belongings in lockers.
- Smoking and/or chewing tobacco is not permitted in the MAC Weight/Cardio Room.
- No food is allowed in the Weight/Cardio Room. Resealable water and sports containers are allowed.
- All participants must wear proper athletic attire and athletic shoes. Street shoes, sandals, flip-flops and open-toed shoes are prohibited. Running bras and short/long biker pants must be covered by t-shirt or shorts respectively.
- Shirts with full backs are required.
- Denim shorts or pants with belt loops/pockets are not allowed.
- Please wipe down equipment, benches and cardiovascular machines after each use. Towels will be provided. Please place towels in designated area when returning.
- All equipment must stay in the Weight/Cardio Room.
- Free weights must be returned to their racks, not leaned against the walls or equipment.
- Please do not drop dumbbells or weight stacks. Repeated misuse of equipment will result in loss of MAC privileges.
- Spotters are strongly recommended for all lifters.
- Weight plates must be kept in free weight and plate-loaded areas.
- Cardiovascular machine workouts are limited to 30 minutes if other people are waiting.
- Allow others to “work-in” during peak hours. Do not rest on machines between sets.
- Immediately report all equipment failures/damages to the MAC staff.
- Immediately report all accidents and injuries to the MAC staff.
In order to use the Mulerider Activity Center, you will be required to submit the MAC Sign Up Form in advance for each time you would like to use the facilities and get approved. If you do not fill out the form or are not approved, you will not be allowed to use the center. Please check your University email for approval.
