Career Services is responsible for student worker training, maintaining a file of student worker data sheets, posting on-campus and part-time off-campus employment opportunities, and posting full-time employment opportunities.
Students wanting to work on campus should complete a student worker data sheet to provide current contact information and work hours available. They are also encouraged to contact departments where they are interested in working.
Student worker training is provided to help students develop workplace skills and to share tips for being successful in on-campus jobs. Training is mandatory, and students must complete one training session during the semester in which they begin working on campus. Training schedules are sent to student email and posted on our website.
Students should contact Career Services, Reynolds 202, 870-235-4097, if they have any questions about a training session. Students can register online for training sessions here.
Student workers are also expected to follow the guidelines in the Student Worker Employment Policy administered by the SAU Office of Financial Aid.
