About the Campus
The Southern Arkansas University campus is comprised of nearly 1,400 acres on the northern edge of Magnolia, Arkansas. While SAU is conveniently located within driving distance of Dallas, Shreveport, and Little Rock, Magnolia offers a small-town setting and family-like feel.
Preview Days
Each semester, SAU offers Preview Days for high schools and other prospective students to tour campus – including academic buildings, housing, student life facilities, and more. To cater to groups and individuals, SAU hosts Preview Days for prospective students—registration is required at the links below.
2024 Preview Day Dates
- Tours and Touchdowns: Saturday, September 21 (Family Day)
- Fall Preview Day: Thursday, October 24
- Fall Preview Day: Friday, November 1
- Spring Preview Day: April 2, 2025
Junior Scholars Day
High school juniors are invited (3.25 GPA or 24 ACT required) on Junior Scholars Day to have brunch, attend mini-classes, and tour campus on this special day. Registration is required at www.saumag.edu/scholarsday.
