1.Select the link sent to you by your instructor via email.
- Something along the lines of “click here to video chat.”
- Safari will inform you that the application cannot be opened only if Blackboard Student is NOT installed.
2.The Blackboard Collaborate page will prompt you to install the Blackboard student app from the app store in order to run the Collaborate Ultra session. Install Bb Student. The app should be free of charge.
3.Once the app is installed, you can return to the email link, or the previously opened page in Safari and select “Join Session Using Bb Student.” You will be redirected to the Bb Student app. The room should open automatically and will ask to use the permission of your microphone for audio, and the camera for video.
