For existing availability settings, you can make exceptions for individual students or groups. Use exceptions to provide an accommodation to a student who is disabled or for technology and language differences.
Test Availability exceptions allow instructors to make special exceptions to the time limit or test availability for students who need additional time, or need to take a makeup exam. This process replaces the need to create a duplicate exam and use Adaptive Release to release the exam to students.
If the settings exist for a test or survey, you can create these exceptions:
- Number of attempts
- Timer
- Availability
- Force completion
- Restrict location
