Inline Grading has been enhanced so that instructors can view student-submitted files “inline,” meaning in the web browser, without requiring any plug-ins, applets, or client-side applications. Additionally, annotations tools are available as part of the inline viewer, enabling instructors to provide feedback – comments, highlights, and even drawing/annotation – directly on the inline view of the document. The following tools support inline grading: assignment building block, blogs and journals building block, wiki building block and discussion building block.
Date Management gives instructors the ability to have the system automatically “shift” content and tool dates in a course in a highly efficient way. After the system makes this shift, an instructor sees all the dates in one place, and can further validate and tweak dates in a single user interface.
