• Employment Offer Letter on company letterhead must include:
  • Company name, full street address and phone number
  • Employment Start Date (Start dates cannot be the last day of your OPT)
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN or FEIN) 
  • This can be in a separate letter from your original letter.
• E-Verify MOU in a full color PDF under 5 MB

• I-983 forms MUST be signed either by hand, electronic signatures using software programs or applications with time and date stamp or code.

If you change any information that is listed on your I-983 then you must submit an updated I-983 with the new information.  This must be done within 10 days of any change with the exception of Job Title, Salary and Supervisor.

Changes to your address can be made in your SAU Campus Connect page and follow these instructions:

1. Log into MySAU and go to Student
2. On the Student page select “Forms”
3. A drop-down menu will appear.  Select “Student Current Address change form”
4. Follow the steps to update your address.

It will take 2 business days for the change to be reflected in MySAU.

You can update your OPT employment information by clicking the link below.  If you have any issues please contact our office at sauinternational@saumag.edu

After clicking the link below use your SAU login information to log into the form

• Select “Login with Campus ID”
• Username: SAU email with the “@mulerider.saumag.edu” email address (ex mmrider1234@muleriders.saumag.edu), password: SAU password
• Select “Request, 20XX” (pick the current year you are updating your OPT)
  • You may have started your OPT in 20xx, but if you are updating your employer in 20xx then you would pick 20XX.
• You will be taken to the OPT Employer Update Form.
• Follow the instructions on the page and upload the proper documents.

DO NOT OPEN MORE THAN ONE UPDATE REQUEST.  DOING SO WILL DELAY YOUR UPDATE REQUEST.

Once on the profile page, you will see your incomplete request listed on the left-hand side of the page.

You can reset your password through your  SAU Campus Connect page.

Our office will contact you once your employer information has been updated.  Our office updates employment information on select days of the week, so be patient and you will be notified once it has been updated.

Yes, you can have your I20 mailed to you. Click the link below to request an updated I-20.  Do not complete the pickup form until you have been notified of the employer update.  If you request an I-20 before you are notified you will not receive the correct I-20.
