It’s that time of the year again!
That’s right. The housing application process is open and ready for your application. At Southern Arkansas University, there is a wide variety of housing and interest options, that are designed to make your stay here at SAU some of the best years of your life.
It is so important that you make sure you get your housing application done as quickly as possible.
University housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you apply, the more likely you will receive one of your top building choices. This means you will be able to choose the room which is perfect for you before they start filling up.
For Fall 2020-Spring 2021, the application opened up on November 1st at 4:00 p.m. Applying for housing is so easy and does not take very long to do and should be done as quickly as possible.
There is not a deadline to apply for housing, however, you will have more options the earlier you apply.
Steps to Apply:
1. Get admitted to Southern Arkansas University
2. Review SAU’s housing options
3. Login to MySAU and click the Housing Application tab.
4. Pay the $100 Housing Reservation Fee
5. Complete the Housing Application Step one.
6. Wait for your Room Selection Time for Fall-Spring.
7. Return to the Housing App to choose your Fall-Spring room and meal plan.
(Spring only or Summer are assigned according to availability.)
8. Get ready to enjoy a great year as a Mulerider.
Also, don’t forget about our options for Living and Learning Communities(LLC). Picking an LLC will ensure that you are living with other students that have similar interests. Whether you are an avid gamer, agriculture major, a member of the Mulerider Marching Band or someone who is passionate about community service, we have a place for you!
