Hometown: Magnolia, AR

Platform: Love Yourself!

Courtnie wants to be Miss SAU 2019 “because I want to have the opportunity to be able to help others who are struggling with loving themselves.”

Courtnie loves SAU “because as soon as you step onto campus, it feels like home and not intimidating like most colleges. The faculty & staff are all welcoming, and the small classes allow you to get to know your professors and for them to know you.”

Cait Light

Classification: Junior

Major: Elementary Ed K-6

Hometown: Springhill, AR

Platform: Let Your Imagination Soar, Read More

Cait wants to be Miss SAU 2019 “because it would allow me the opportunity to give back to the wonderful people who have invested so much into me the last year and a half. Being Miss SAU would also give me the voice to be able to promote my platform, “Let Your Imagination Soar; Read More.”

Cait loves SAU “because it has served as my home for the past year and a half. I love the people, community, and being involved in campus life. From being a President’s Ambassador to being a part of Greek life, SAU has given me so many opportunities to grow as a person, and I’m forever thankful for that.”

Hometown: Camden, AR

Platform: Being a Confident You

Alexus loves SAU “because SAU gives you the home away from home feeling. SAU brightens my day every time I enter campus. You will never meet a stranger here. The faculty will go out of their way to make sure you not only succeed at SAU but in life, in general, and with that, I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home.”

Carson Beeching

Classification: Freshman

Major: Pre-Nursing

Hometown: Sherwood, AR

Carson loves SAU “because my comfort zone was stretched when I left for college far from home—only knowing a handful of faces. SAU has shaped the person that I am and gives me daily tools to become the person I have always wanted to be.”
