Order of Omega is a Greek-letter honorary organization that recognizes men and women involved in Greek Life who have achieved high standards of scholarship and unite the Greek community through their service.
The Phi XI Chapter of the Order of Omega was founded at Southern Arkansas University on June 16, 2008. Students involved in Order of Omega are the top three percent of students based on a cumulative GPA over the all-Greek average. Intake for Order of Omega happens every spring semester as openings arise in membership. Once you join a Greek-letter organization, you can be considered for membership in this elite group.
Requirements to be inducted into Order of Omega:
- All inductees must have Junior or Senior standing status
- Each one of them must have a 3.099 grade point average
- They must have been in their respective organization for at least a year
