Southern Arkansas University offers its students many opportunities to become an active part of our campus community, and we believe you’ll find that involvement in a Greek organization helps foster personal development.


College Panhellinic Council (CPC)

With the help of alumnae activities and networking programs, CPC strengthens its bonds to sisterhood and continues to develop confident, young female leaders to enter the today’s world. The CPC sororities of Southern Arkansas University accelerate the progress of culturing young girls into classy ladies by empowering the female within.

Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC)

IFC serves to provide leadership and guidance to the IFC fraternities. The Inter-Fraternity Council endlessly pursues the ongoing development of high academic standards, philanthropic opportunities, and inter-fraternity unity.

National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC)

NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.

Inter-Greek Council (IGC)

The Inter Greek Council (IGC) is the umbrella organization which recognizes and oversees all Greek letter chapters on the SAU campus. The group is comprised of the Graduate Assistants of Student Activities, the Presidents of all Greek groups, the Presidents from each of the three councils—NPC, IFC, and NPHC—and advised by the Assistant Director of Student Activities.
