National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities are national and international organizations with chapters at four-year colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Southern Arkansas University’s College Panhellinic Council (CPC) consists of three national sororities: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Phi Mu, and Sigma Sigma Sigma.
The CPC sororities of Southern Arkansas University offer a nurturing environment and encourage individual, personal, and leadership development while fostering a family-like atmosphere through sisterhood.
The Southern Arkansas University sororities, as well as NPC encourage academic achievement, the development of leadership skills and community service. Each sorority sponsors philanthropic activities which include the support of its national philanthropies and local non-profit organizations within SAU and the local communities.
With the help of alumnae activities and networking programs, CPC strengthens its bonds to sisterhood and continues to develop confident, young female leaders to enter the today’s world. The CPC sororities of Southern Arkansas University accelerate the progress of culturing young girls into classy ladies by empowering the female within.
The CPC sororities at Southern Arkansas University are values-based and committed to worthwhile endeavors. Members are expected to maintain the high standards set by their sorority as well as the values established by the founders of the organization.
