- Regular Application fee – Applicants are required to pay a $90 nonrefundable application fee to have their application processed and I-20 created. With this option, applicants are obligated to have their foreign transcripts evaluated through a third party agency (see step 6).
- Application fee with transcripts evaluation – Applicants can choose to pay a $230 application fee instead of the regular application fee to have their official foreign transcripts evaluated by IEE through SAU. This fee is also nonrefundable.
Step 3 – Submit English Proficiency Scores (Mandatory)
The English requirement can be waived for students holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited school within the United States.
You must submit one of the following scores that are not more than 2 years old.
Some English-speaking countries are exempted from this requirement.

- Fill out and email the SAU Affidavit of Support [pdf] form showing at least $16,850.
