Duties include but are not be limited to: day-to-day coaching of student-athletes; driving to practice/competition; individual skill instruction; recruiting athletic and academically sound, competitive student-athletes that can compete on the NCAA Division II level; establishing a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community; follow NCAA, Great American Conference and University rules and regulations and other duties assigned. Candidate will also assist in community and public relations, promotion of teams within the community, oversight/maintenance of local practice facilities as well as serving as a positive role model for student-athletes.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; must demonstrate evidence of successful experience in coaching; record of success in collegiate and/or interscholastic golf coaching/competing; effective communication, excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; interpersonal skills and commitment to total success of students.
