Duties: Coordinator of the SAU Alumni Center (40%): Coordinate all areas of the Alumni Center, including but not limited to marketing and promotion of the Alumni Center, event coordination, scheduling, staffing, annual reporting of facility usage, evaluating events, and enforcing policies. Marketing/Communications (60%): Develop and implement a coordinated alumni communications program in support of alumni engagement goals on behalf of the Office of Alumni Relations and Division of Advancements; programs may include e-blasts, e-newsletters, social media, web content, and content for the SAU Stater (Alumni Magazine); draft high-quality written communications and professionally respond to alumni with a high level of customer service; assist in coordination of alumni affinity programs; serve as the liaison between the Division of Advancement and the Communications Center to produce high-quality graphic designs for external engagements and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, communications, public administration, or related field preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task; knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with WordPress web design, Adobe InDesign, and social media platforms; ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
