The University Village Apartments are 2 bedroom or 4 bedroom apartments for upper class students who meet specific hour/grade and/or age requirements. Village apartments are fully-furnished with shared living room, kitchen, and bath. Each bedroom has a single sleeping space with full-size bed, desk, desk chair, chest and ceiling fan. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal.
The University Village Clubhouse offers a classroom, lounge area, swimming pool, free laundry facilities and access to the new Panda Express.
Village Apartment residents choose a nine or twelve month lease before move-in in August. (Students moving in later in the semester are offered a remaining 9 month lease only.) Rent is billed per semester to their student account. Prices include utilities, cable, and Internet connection. A meal plan is required in fall and spring, however students may choose from the lower priced apartment meal plans.
Space in at the Village Apartments is in high demand. Students are recommended to complete their Housing Application as soon as it opens on November 1st and make their reservation as early as possible on their Room Selection Time in January. Room selection times are based on application date and qualification. The Apartment Reservation Fee is $200. If spaces are full, students may request in writing to be on the waiting list by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eligibility requirements for on-campus apartments are 60 or more hours completed or 21 years of age with 2.25 GPA or 40 hours with 3.50 GPA. Once residing in the apartment, students must maintain the GPA listed above to keep their lease for the following semester.
