About
Bussey Hall a is a three-story, brick structure all-girls residence hall. It is roughly U-shaped with the main entrance sheltered by a three-story portico and triangular gable pediment supported by round columns. Bussey Hall has some of the largest bedrooms rooms on-campus with a sink in the room. It has luxury vinyl floors throughout with a computer lab, laundry room, and lobby area on the first floor. Each floor has two semi-private bathrooms that allow privacy within the common bath area. It is named for Mrs. Carol Bussey, the school dietitian and dining hall director 1913-1956.
Bussey Hall is the home for Living Learning Communities (LLC) of Health and Fitness, Studiers Unite and houses several of the female sports teams. The first floor resident rooms are specifically dedicated as 24 hour quiet areas for studying and our Studiers Unite LLC participants. Bussey Hall is located in a centralized area on campus with easy walking time to many facilities and classrooms.
Studiers Unite is a Living Learning Community (LLC) that focuses on school in a friendly environment where it is always quiet. The purpose of this LLC is to provide a space where students that like to study will have a place to do so in their own living space.
The Health and Fitness Living Learning Community (LLC) will provide residents with a living environment dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle. Residents will be able to participate in group sports, intramural sporting events, exercise, health programs and more.
