Columbia Hall is a co-ed, newer hybrid-style residence hall with three floors and an elevator. It has kitchenettes on every floor with lush common areas, along with rows of bathrooms in hallways that give extra privacy to residents. Columbia Hall is the home for beginning freshmen who have been accepted into the selective Residential College Living Learning Community. It is located on the North side of campus across from Wilkins Stadium and the Mulerider Track.
There is a $50 programming fee per semester for students living in this facility.

SAU is known for success in agricultural education and agricultural business. Beginning-Freshmen who are Agriculture majors and have at least a 19 on ACT or 3.00 from High school may live in Columbia Hall in the Agriculture LLC. This opportunity allows students with similar interests to live near each other.
