Thank you for visiting the website of the Southern Arkansas University office of Student Support Services. Our services provide assistance and support tailored to the individual needs of each participant. Academic counseling, improvement of study skills, tutoring, and improvement of basic skills are emphasized.
Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO Program funded by the U. S. Department of Education. Student Support Services’ mission is geared toward assisting low income, first-generation students, and students with disabilities by providing them with comprehensive academic support services to increase the retention and graduation rates of eligible undergraduate students.
To find out if you are eligible to become a Student Support Services participant, you can obtain an application [pdf] by contacting the Student Support Services office or fill out and print the application and return it to our office.
