Video Game Design | This class will teach students how to make a video game using the Unity game engine. Students will be introduced to some basic programming concepts and learn how to integrate their scripts to control game objects in a stand-alone game. |
AgVenture! | Join us on an adventure in the world of agriculture! Students in this class will get to learn how to make plants grow with no soil, how to extract DNA from a strawberry, and will have the opportunity to get hands on with the cannulated steer! |
Stage & Special Effects Make-up | Learn how to apply stage/movie make-up and create all sorts of fun effects! Students will learn and practice make-up application techniques for creating realistic character make-up and will practice applying stage/movie make-up on each other and themselves. |
Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab | Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab will include lots of mad science fun! We will learn and explore through science experiments and dissection! Join in on the madness! |
Exploring STEM with Nintendo | How can vibrations be translated to movement? Is there math within music sounds? How can technology and engineering be successfully integrated? Can motion-tracking and heat-seeking be used to teach concepts of velocity? Using the Nintendo Labo systems, students can use the familiar backdrop of gaming to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a fun and creative, build-it-yourself setting. |
FUNdamentals of Cheerleading | In this class, students will learn the FUNdamentals of cheer including cheers, chants, jumps, dance, stunts, and tumbling. The students will also learn correct technique and form as well as learning what being a cheerLEADER truly means. |
Polished – Hair & Make-up | This class will explore the basics of hair styling and make-up. Learn how to create simple looks with flat irons, curls, braids, and updos/ponytails. Make-up tutorials for day time looks and minimal use of products will be included, as well as, foundation matching and blending techniques. |
Kool Krafts | Making bath bombs, soap and sugar scrubs are all things you will find in this class! Mix in glitter, sequins, and bright colors and it is a recipe for fun! Students will use their creativity to make their own unique crafts! |
Advanced Archery | This course is designed to give additional instruction to students who already have a knowledge and experience in Archery. It is also for those who have had little or no Archery experience. There will be competitive shooting, games, and prizes. If the student already owns a bow, they are encouraged to bring it to class. |
Mule Sports Mania! | Students will participate in a different non-contact sport each day. Sports will include flag football, basketball, soccer, and wiffle ball. Students will need athletic shoes/attire and sunscreen. Equipment and water will be provided. |
Piloxing Barre | Piloxing Barre utilizes fundamental disciplines of Boxing and Pilates, while using a ballet barre for stability and resistance. This program includes 4 blocks of Pilates influenced exercises, 2 blocks of cardio boxing, 1 block of arm blast exercise and 1 block of core work. You will lengthen, strengthen, and box your heart out in this class! |
The Art of Cooking | The Art of Cooking is a basic cooking class for teens that will explore a wide variety of cooking methods. Students will have the opportunity to cook on the stovetop, grill, and oven. Students will also have an opportunity to bring home a variety of recipes and experience the joy of cooking from scratch. |
