| Conservation Station | Do you love the outdoors? If you said yes, then this class is for you! In this class, students will grow their knowledge of conservation of natural resources through hands on activities. Students will learn why pollinators are important and why we need to protect our water and soil. This class is perfect for anyone wanting to become wildlife biologists, soil scientists, foresters, work for AR Game and Fish, and so much more! |
| Creative Engineers | In this class, students will be using the engineering process to create structures to solve problems. Students will test their creative side to come up with solutions and build fun things such as basketball goals, igloos, catapults, boats, and more! |
| Detective Academy | Calling all young investigators! Detective Academy introduces students to the exciting world of forensic science and criminal investigation. Participants will learn how real detectives solve mysteries through hands-on activities including fingerprint analysis, crime scene photography, evidence collection, and investigation techniques. Students will practice lifting fingerprints, documenting crime scenes with photography, analyzing clues, and working together to solve mock cases. |
| Experiencing Ceramics | Join us in Experiencing Ceramics as students learn what it takes to become a sculptor! Working in clay, whether through hand-building or throwing on the potter’s wheel, can lead to paths in fine art as well as commercial design. In this class, students will design and create their own piece of pottery and will be able to take it home with them. |
| Game On | Ready to level up your teamwork skills? In Game On, students will compete in team-based games like Rocket League and Fortnite while learning how communication, leadership, and strategy lead to victory. Players will rotate roles, compete in scrimmages, and break down what worked (and what didn’t) after each match. Along the way, they’ll build real-world skills like quick decision-making, teamwork under pressure, and leadership, the same skills used in careers like sports, business, esports, and the military. |
| Here’s Your Sign | This isn’t your typical language class with boring lectures and endless memorization! It’s an immersive experience where your hands do the talking! Dive into American Sign Language (ASL) and learn to chat, joke, and share stories using nothing but your hands, all in a supportive, high-energy environment. |
| Intermediate Archery | This course is designed to expand on basic Archery instruction and application. Intermediate Archery Instruction can be used to gain experience for Recreational Archery, Tournament Archery, and hunting wildlife during the Archery season. |
| It’s Electric! | Get ready to power things up! Students will learn how electricity works and what electricians do every day. They’ll explore important safety rules, learn about circuit parts, and then build their own working electrical circuits. By the end of the class, students will test their designs to see if they can successfully light things up! It’s a hands-on challenge that mixes science, problem-solving, and real-world skills. |
| Mailroom Aesthetic | Ditch the digital and get tactile! Step into The Mailroom, a creative studio where high-end stationery meets professional design. In this class, you’ll move beyond basic crafts to become a Lead Designer, mastering modern paper-engineering techniques. You won’t just be making cards; you’ll be developing a product line. From sketching your first concept to stamping your own custom brand logo on every finished piece, you’ll learn the secrets of product development and brand identity. | Mindful Moments | In this class, students will get creative while learning ways to manage stress and boost their confidence. Through fun, hands-on projects like making vision boards, calm-down jars, and grounding bracelets, students will discover how emotions, stress, and anxiety affect the mind and body. Each activity introduces simple strategies they can use in real life to stay calm, focused, and positive. Along the way, students will also learn how these skills connect to careers like counseling, social work, and wellness coaching. | Piano | Join us for this class as we introduce students to the piano! Students will learn how to read music and relate it to the piano as they learn how to play songs. From this class, they will be able to read music for piano, band, or whatever type of music they are interested in! |
| Pickleball | Join us and learn how to play the fastest growing sport in the US-PICKLEBALL! Pickleball is a blend of ping pong, badminton, and tennis. It is fun, easy to learn, and can develop into a quick and competitive game. In this class, students will learn the basic rules, strategies and shots involved in the game. Come have fun and learn the sport of Pickleball! |
| Scuba | This class introduces students to scuba diving along with the safety aspects, science behind scuba and the care and handling of equipment. Students will get into pool on the last day. Appropriate forms will need to be completed prior to getting into the water. |
| Staying Alive | Do you want to learn how to save a life in just 30 minutes? Join our “Staying Alive” Hands-Only CPR class! This fun, hands-on workshop teaches you the two simple steps to help someone in an emergency: Call 911 and Push Fast and Hard! We’ll practice to the beat of popular songs (like “Stayin’ Alive”) on training mannequins to make sure you know exactly how to help if someone collapses. No boring lectures—just fast, lifesaving skills! |
| Stitch It | Get creative with needle and thread! In this class, students will learn basic hand embroidery stitches and create their own fun designs. As they stitch, they’ll discover how crafting can be a great way to relax, focus, and take a break from stress. Embroidery also helps build patience, creativity, and confidence as students watch their artwork come to life one stitch at a time. By the end of the class, they’ll have a handmade project they can be proud of created completely with their own two hands! |
| Style It Your Way | Ready to level up your hair game? In this class, students will learn how to care for their hair and create fun, everyday styles. From understanding different hair types and choosing the right products to learning how to safely use heat tools, this class covers the basics of healthy hair care. Students will also practice styling techniques like sleek ponytails, loose waves, braids, and trendy bubble braids. By the end of the class, they’ll have the skills to create their own looks and keep their hair healthy and strong! |
| Teens Can Cook Too! | Students will have an opportunity to dig into their cooking skills. This will include learning to read a recipe, different measurement types, and other hand-on experiences. Cooking types will include oven baking, skillet top, and microwave. |
| Veterinary Medicine | Are you drawn to the world of furry, scaly, and feathered friends? If you answered yes, then this class is for you! In this class students will learn how to safely handle and examine animals, how to give animals injections, and then have the opportunity to practice what they learned on a live animal with the assistance of a local veterinarian. |
