“Appetite” for Learning | Both | Students will have fun baking/cooking in the kitchen! Through hands-on activities students will learn the importance of safety in the kitchen, practice math skills, and learn how to correctly measure using dry and liquid ingredients. Students will LOVE getting to enjoy their tasty treats! |
Archery 101 (Basic Skills) | Both | This course is designed to teach the Basic Instruction of Archery and application. There will be competitive shooting with games and prizes. If the Student already owns a bow, they are encouraged to bring it to class. |
Bling, Bling…Just Add Glitter | Both | This magical forest is filled with glitter, bling, & many FUN things! Join us as we make every glitter fantasy come true! We will do it all…from bling bath bombs to jeweled fizzing fairy potions! Be ready to create & take home customized Magical Mind jars, Glittered Glam Goo (slime), Edible Glittered Wands (yes, you can EAT them), & more! By the end of the week, you will take home your very own UNICORN (with bling, of course)! There’s no party like a GLITTER PARTY…& this glitter party won’t stop! Your glam awaits you!

Canvas Craze | Camp 1 | Canvas craze will give students the opportunity to work with stretched canvases to make a masterpiece! Much like a painting class for adults, this course will teach students how to follow the instructor demonstration to create a unique painted canvas. We will use paint, crayons, Modge Podge, and other materials to make keepsakes to show off year round. |
Cartoon IT! | Both | Kids will learn to draw animals, people, superheroes, buildings, and other scenery! Each day they will learn step-by-step how to draw a specific subject using a variety of markers, pens, and pencils, and learn a variety of shading techniques and terms. Come be an artist and Cartoon IT! |
Classic Boxing Class | Both | This Boxing class will be all upper body boxing only. No kick boxing. Students will learn how to hold thier stance, form, and foot work (cardio will be involved). We will practice right and left jabs, upper cuts, and right and left dips. Other activities will include jump rope, sleighs, and crunches. These are just a few of the fun and safe ways of learning classic boxing. |
Crafts For Each Season | Both | I will incorporate a craft for each of the four seasons of the year. The crafts can be used to decorate their room or homes for each season. |
Creative Canvases | Camp 2 | This painting class is designed to be fun for kids with any level of experience. Students will create one acrylic on canvas painting each day based on a step-by-step demo by the instructor. Each student’s personal style and technique will contribute to making their paintings unique, creative masterpieces that can be enjoyed for years to come. |
Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Scientist | Both | Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Scientist Lab will include two days of dissecting and two days of Mad Scientist fun!
Day 1 – Create and paint your own homemade volcano Day 2 – Learn, explore, and dissect a rat Day 3 – Learn, explore, and dissect a frog Day 4 – Erupt Volcano, Create a Bottle Rocket, and make MAGNETIC slime!! |
Engineering/Design Challenges | Both | Each day will bring a new engineering and design challenge. Students will design and build marble roller coasters, alien space landers, zip lines, board games, and towers. |
Fractions, Food, Friends, and Fun | Both | Students will learn to fearlessly solve fractions by using real world solutions and hands-on learning. Students will use various food items to solve fraction word problems. How can you share one cupcake with 2 or more friends equally? Which candy bar would you rather share? Take the fear out of fractions and put fun in its place. |
Fun Summer Crafts | Both | Summer is usually kids’ favorite time of the year. We will paint our feet, make aquarium sand paintings, design our own glow stick lightening bugs, and much more. Ability of the crafts adjusted to the grade level of the students. Come and join the fun!! |
FUNdamentals of Cheerleading | Both | In this class the students will learn the FUNdmentals of cheer including cheers, chants, jumps, dance, stunts, and tumbling. The students will also learn correct technique and form as well as learning what being a cheerLEADER truly means. |
Fundamentals of Softball | Camp 1 | The fundamentals of softball will include the skills of throwing, fielding, hitting, pitching, and catching for any age and any skill level. |
Glam It Up – Hair, Skin, and Nails | Both | If you’re a girly-girl, this class is for you! Spend the week relaxing with a facial scrub, learning cute nail art designs, and creating your own “girly essentials” – flavored lip gloss, scented bath soap, and a knotted headband. Come “Glam It Up” with us! |
I Love Candy! | Both | Candy Science ! If you love candy or have a sweet tooth, this is the class for you. We will make edible slime, build gumdrop structures, make gummy worms dance, grow gummy bears, and explore what candy bars will sink or float. Each day will be filled with sweet surprises! |
Keep calm and LEGO!!! | Both | So you think you can LEGO? Become a master builder and explore building with Legos in more ways than you can imagine. Join us as we create and design masterpieces. Are you up for the CHALLENGE? |
Kids Can Grill Too | Both | Kids Can Grill Too is a hands-on learning course where students gain experience in many different aspects of grilling. From lighting a grill utilizing a chimney to discovering the difference between direct and indirect heat, students will perform tasks in developing their own food creations. Students will be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken quesadillas, s’mores, and even grilled pizza. |
Kids in the Kitchen | Camp 1 | Kids in the Kitchen will lead students on exciting cooking adventures where they will learn new recipes and skills to create tasty dishes. |
Math that Moves! | Both | Is your child ready to have fun with math? This class was designed with them in mind! If your child is a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner, this is the class for them. This course will explore and examine the basic concepts and techniques of mathematics, and build from there! An effective mathematician must understand, represent, and solve problems involving addition and subtraction.
By the end of this course, the students will have gained a deeper understanding of the aforementioned concepts as well as geometry and graphing. As an added bonus, the students will earn “Mulerider Money” for coming to class each day, and being active participants. On the last day of camp, they will have the option to save or spend their income. |
Movie-Themed Cooking | Both | Attention Movie Fans, you can create delectable treats to honor your favorite films. Join the Chef as we create Frozen ice wands with Olaf’s marshmallow Pops, Lego treat blocks, Trolls rainbow along with Poppy’s cupcakes, Minions pudding parade, Moana’s Hawaiian Passion, an Incredibles snack mix, & more! This is a Kid Kitchen Takeover that you do not want to miss! Join us as we EAT our favorite movies up!

Mule Sports Mania | Camp 1 | Students will participate in a different non-contact sport each day. Sports will include football (flag), basketball, soccer, and wiffle ball. Students will need athletic shoes/attire and sunscreen. Equipment and water will be provided. |
Newton’s Toy Box | Both | Students will experiment freely with familiar objects to help them grasp the concepts of Newton’s Laws of Motion. The path of a straw rocket, the flip of a grasshopper toy, and little toy cars racing down a ramp will help bring home the concepts of inertia, gravity, acceleration, mass, force, and momentum in a fun way. Students will participate in races and challenges that emphasize the laws of motion that govern our everyday activities. |
Quilting 101 | Both | In this class students will learn the basics of machine quilting while you make your own quilted pillowcase.
This class will go over the basics of making a quilt from cutting to binding. |
Robotics & Coding | Both | Robots are becoming more prevalent in today’s society. They are used in high level applications such as space exploration right through to commercial vacuuming robots found in everyday households. In this Robotics class, students will have the opportunity to build their own robots, learn how to make them move and respond to light, touch, and sound. Students will use problem solving, math, computer skills, and perseverance in programming their robots to complete a set of mazes. Students will even compete on the accuracy on completing the mazes. |
So You Think You Can Dance? | Both | Dance, Dance, and more Dance! Students will explore the wide variety of dance with lessons in hip hop, jazz, musical theater, and even tap! This class will introduce students to fun dance history with a different style and theme each day. Students can even have a showcase of each style on the last day. This will give the students experience in cardio, fitness, memorization, gross motor skills, and rhythm all in one FUN class. |
STEM Slime Challenge | Both | Making slime is a great way to explore the phases of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma). Each day we will make a different type of slime and do a variety of activities with that particular slime. Students will use a Slime Observation sheet to identify the properties of their slime and learn how polymers have the characteristics of liquids and solids. We will also test the Slime Flexibility each day by determining how far our slime can stretch before it breaks. We will end each day with a different slime game and each student will leave with a sample of the slime made that day. |
Super Kids! | Camp 2 | Up Up Up and Away! Super Kids build their skills through play! This fun, engaging and interactive course will use art, music, and children’s group games to help your child identify their own uniqueness, foster their ability to be a friend, teach them to recognize unsafe situations, and enhance their leadership skills in order to unleash their inner Super Kid! Children in this age range are just beginning to expand their social circles; the activities offered in this course will set them up for success during this developmental milestone. |
The Great Desert Island STEM Challenge | Both | The Great Desert Island STEM Challenge is a set of activities centered around the story of a shipwrecked traveler stranded on a deserted island. The challenge is to get him off the island and back to civilization. We will learn about his story and read his diary entries. Each entry will be a challenge to design something such as a hut, bridge, catapult, or a raft to help him survive and get back to civilization. Can you help him survive the island and get back to civilization with YOUR designs? |
The Motion Commotion | Both | “YOU CAN’T CHANGE THAT! Can you?!? THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE! Is it really!?” Your team is going to spend an amazing week engineering solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems during the GREAT MOTION COMMOTION!
Using the laws of INERTIA, your team will be faced with numerous challenges which include: • Extracting your entire team from one location to another without ever touching the floor! (What?!?… That’s impossible!!) • Moving liquids and solids to different locations using WATER GUNS, CATAPULTS, and SLINGSHOTS! (That sounds Dangerous!!) • Using your Paint, Bottle-Flip, Stacking, and Map Navigation Skills in The Motor Skills Challenge! (Ok… that just sounds awesome!!) This will be a week you won’t soon forget! We will spend the week figuring out what in the world INERTIA is and why it causes things to do the impossible. Are you up for the challenge? |
The Perfect Escape | Both | Come escape a room at SAU! Complete an adventurous puzzle to break out of rooms using clues to unlock the locks on the treasure box. There will be a new and exciting break out mission each day to take you on a real life adventure. Students will use critical thinking, super spy skills, and lots more to figure out how to get to the prizes inside the box. Break out boxes are great team building exercises that put your mind and body to work figuring out the answers to every clue. Every box is locked with up to six different locks. Locks are undone once the students have solved their mission. Prizes await once you have broken out and unlocked all of the locks! |
