Abradoodle | Abradoodle is a hands-on class, that uses everyday objects to create art! Toy cars, food, and balloons will all be utilized as art tools. Combine these objects with your imagination and see what fun art pieces can be created! |
Archery 101 | This course is designed to teach the basic instruction of archery and application. There will be competitive shooting with games and prizes. If the student already owns a bow, they are encouraged to bring it to class. |
Artist Exploration | Have you ever wondered about the style and methods of famous artists? Do you wish you could replicate them? In this class, students will create and paint using the methods of some of the greatest artists in history. They will learn about the artists themselves as well as how they created their artwork. Join us to create a masterpiece you will be proud to hang on the wall! |
Beginner Gymnastics | Students will learn basic gymnastic skills and techniques. The class will proceed according to ability. Each student will practice skills he or she are comfortable with. Come flip with us! |
Breakout | In this class, students will race against the clock and their peers to try and solve clues that will unlock their box! They will have to think outside of the box to get “into the box.” Join us for a lot of fun and critical thinking! There will be a new puzzle to solve and codes to crack each day. |
Campus Campout | Enjoy four days of activities related to Camping! Activities will include planning your trip, including what you will need to pack, how to pitch a tent, rock painting, cooking over a camp fire, hiking/fishing, and playing baggo. |
Canvas Kids | In this class, your child will be introduced to basic art techniques. Children will explore the great world of art using a paintbrush, an empty canvas, and colorful paint. The class is designed to be fun for kids with any level of experience. This unique learning experience places an emphasis on having fun while exploring creativity! |
Coding with Bee-Bots | Bee-Bots are a programable floor robot and are an excellent way to introduce students to some of the basic concepts of coding. In this class, students will learn directional language, commands, sequencing, and problem solving while enjoying the hands-on nature of the Bee-Bot. Join us as we use coding to help our Bee-Bot travel across maps and through caves! |
Creative Art | Join us and let your imagination dance across the canvas! In this class, students will use various items and techniques to have fun and create a fantastic painting each day! |
Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab | Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab will include lots of mad science fun! We will learn and explore through science experiments and dissection! Join in on the madness! |
Escaping Planet Emoji | In this classroom escape, students will compete as teams to escape Planet Emoji! They will be encouraged to work as a team, engage in critical thinking and problem solving, all while having fun! |

Extreme House Makeover: Alaska | Alaska has extremely cold temperatures! If you move there, your house must be insulated and able to withstand the wind and extreme temperatures. Do you think you have what it takes to survive Extreme House Makeover – Alaska style?! |
Fidget Fun | Fidget toys have become all the rage! In this class, students will learn about the function of fidgets and how they have become popular. They will also make their own fidgets to take home including stress balls, simple dimples, and many others! |
Fun with Engineering | Put your thinking caps on! In this class, we will look at a problem or question and brainstorm possible solutions. Students will put their skills to use by building a variety of engineering structures. You don’t want to miss out on the fun of engineering! |
Hangin’ Loose in Hawaii | Grab your surfboard and get ready to Hang Ten and Hang Loose in Hawaii! We will learn all about the 50th state’s customs, culture, and history. From making an erupting volcano and a coral reef to creating Hawaiian art, each day will be filled with science, creativity, and learning. We will study Hawaiian words and phrases and it will all lead up to a Hawaiian luau with leis, grass skirts, hula dancing, and Hawaiian snacks! Join us for Islands of fun! Aloha! |
Hot Wheels STEM Challenge | Race on over to Hot Wheels STEM challenge! Each day students will design and construct different racetracks. This course allows students to investigate energy, motion, speed, friction, and engineering principles all while playing with Hot Wheels. Are you up for the challenge? |
Intro to Pickleball | Now is the time to Introduce your youth to the fastest growing sport in the US-PICKLEBALL! Pickleball is a blend of ping pong, badminton, and tennis. It is fun, easy to learn, and can develop into a quick and competitive game. In this class, we will cover rules and game play. Come have fun and learn the sport of Pickleball! |
Intro to Scuba | Have you ever wondered what it’s like to go Scuba Diving? In this class, students will be introduced to the world of scuba diving along with the safety aspects, science behind scuba and the care and handling of equipment. Students will be allowed to get into the pool on the 3rd and 4th days so the ability to swim is required. Students must be at least 10 years old. Guardians will be required to complete waivers for students to participate. |
Junior Yoga | Yoga is an excellent way to introduce fitness to kids and can be a great calming tool. Junior Yoga will teach yoga to kids with the use of animal names, games, and stories. Proper breathing, balance, stability, mobility, and strength will all be covered. |
Junky Jewelry | Welcome to Junky Jewelry! In this class, students will make jewelry from objects found in their house. We will make wearable and fashionable rings, bracelets and necklaces. We cannot wait to see everyone’s creative designs in Junky Jewelry! |
LEGO What If Challenge | Join us for this class of “What if?” with LEGOS! Students will start each day with Lego Challenges and then move into our “What if?” scenarios. Students will have an opportunity to be creative thinkers, problem solvers, team players as well as enhance their communication skills and brain stimulation. And they will do this all while playing with LEGOS! |
Kid Entrepreneur | Have you ever wanted to be your own boss? Within this class, students will be introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship. They will be given an opportunity to brainstorm business ideas, create a kid-friendly budget and develop a marketing plan. Students will end the week by launching their small business ‘shark tank’ style! |
Kids Can Grill Too | Kids Can Grill Too is a hands-on learning course where students gain experience in many different aspects of grilling. From lighting a grill utilizing a chimney to discovering the difference between direct and indirect heat, students will perform tasks in developing their own food creations. Students will be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken quesadillas, s’mores, and even grilled pizza. |
Marshmallow Challenge | Who doesn’t love marshmallows!? Join us as we use marshmallows to complete challenges! This class will include team-building activities and encourage students to be innovative, creative and collaborative all while playing with marshmallows. |
Math that Moves | Math that Moves is a math class that incorporates music and movement. This is an interactive approach that engages the strongest learning style of each student. Students will explore shapes, make new shapes, play math fluency card games, discuss economics and learn to count money. To top it all off, students will move, count and exercise with music. Join us this summer for loads of Math that Moves fun! |
Mule Sports Mania | Students will engage in a variety of sports activities in the Mulerider Activities Center. Sports include basketball, wiffle ball, kickball, and others as time permits. Tennis shoes required. |
Muleriders Have GRIT | What is GRIT you ask? GRIT stands for Gumption, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity. This course will strengthen your GRIT through fun brain games, exciting time trials, and mysterious puzzles and riddles. All of this is preparation for a surprise challenge that will highlight the end of your week at MKC. |
Music Speaks | This class is music to your ears! Let’s play, sing and dance while the beat drops. Students will learn to locate notes on the keyboard, play a medley of songs, sing to the tunes and dance to the beat! Are you ready to enjoy the melody?! |
My Community and Me | Come join us to learn about the community around you and the many different ways you can make an impact on others. Volunteers from various community organizations will visit with students and teach us about their organization. Students will get to participate in activities that will help make a difference within their community! |
Pickleball 2 | Pickleball 2 is for kids who took Intro to Pickleball in 2021 or are familiar with this fast-growing sport! Students will review pickleball skills and rules and will build on their skills through drills and game play. |
Snaptricity | Welcome to the world of electrical engineering! In this class, these little engineers will learn about basic engineering, electronics and circuitry concepts. They can assemble over 100 different electronic circuit projects. With programmable word fan, dual LED display, switches, speakers, lights, and compasses the possibilities are endless! |
Space STEM | Let’s blast off into the world of Space STEM! Students will explore the moon and tackle maker learning activities that challenge students to harness their inner astronaut. From looking at moon rock and craters, to designing a moon rover, students are sure to have fun that is out of this world! |
Spaceriders | Spaceriders is a class for future astronauts! Students will learn about the solar system, create space themed crafts & treats, and even go through an astronaut-in-training obstacle course. Get ready to BLAST OFF! |
Stitching Together | Have you ever wanted to learn how to cross-stitch or embroidery? This class will teach you just that! You’ll also learn methods to design your work, how to make the basic cross-stitch, and tips and tricks along the way. |
Storyboards | Come explore how books and movies are designed! Storyboards are used by authors, filmmakers, animators, directors and even scientists! In this class, students will be able to make a storyboard using various creative materials after reading a short story each day. |
Sweet Side of Business | In this class, we will snack our way through learning the basics of economics. Students will work together to make a sweet treat every day as they learn new vocabulary and concepts about running businesses and resources. On our last day, students will practice being entrepreneurs by preparing treats and running “The Snack Stand.” Profits will be donated to the SAU Foundation. |
Taste of the World | Have you ever wondered where your favorite foods came from? In this tasty class, students will dive into the history of food origins while making recipes they can take home and share with their families. |
The Music Experience | This class is designed to get young children engaged in music! Through games and hands-on experiences, students will learn how to read music and learn the meaning of musical phrases. Activities can include creating their own instrument and even composing their own music. Join us and let’s create young musicians! |
Top Chef | Does your student want to learn their way around the kitchen? As a Top Chef, they will learn and practice skills used in preparing meals and snacks. Kids will love getting to enjoy the delicious items that they prepare! |
Watercolor 101 | In this fun art class, students will learn a variety of ways to apply watercolor to watercolor paper. They will also experiment with different types of watercolor techniques to create textures and designs. The week will end with a masterpiece created by the student using their favorite colors and painting techniques. The sky is the limit, so our designs are endless. Let’s make some art! |
Wizards, the Next Level | Calling all Wizards! Come join me as we experience the magic behind the science.
