All senators are expected to attend. Visitors are always welcome to attend Staff Senate meetings.
Staff Senators Present: Marisa Grippo (president), Wilson Impson (Faculty Senate liaison), Angela McLaughlin (secretary), Bryan Christenson, Jennifer England, Vilma Espinoza, Jessica Greaves, Gary Hickson, Brittany Lenard, Anne Sands, Greg Taylor, and Michael White
Proxies: Sheryl Edwards for Dr. Trey Berry

Approval of Minutes:
Staff Senate Meeting Minutes – October 2022 (draft)
Minutes were approved unanimously (motion: England, second: Impson).
Committee Reports:
– Wilson: Online Education & Faculty Senate
– Christenson: Parking
– Grippo: Research
Old Business:
Sands: Chairing new Flexible Scheduling Ad Hoc Committee; will email committee members
with possible meeting times & dates soon.
Impson: Idea for new Staff Senate action project focused on onboarding new senators and
spreading on-campus awareness about Staff Senate; will email rough proposal to review before
next meeting
New Business:
- Edwards: HLC was very happy & impressed with SAU review!! Thanked everyone for their hard
work. Spring 2023 enrollment up!! Volunteers are needed for Celebration of Lights. - Grippo: Staff budget forum tentatively scheduled for late January/early February.
