The Staff Senate met on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 2:02 p.m. in Reynolds 205. Approval of Minutes
September 16, 2015 Minutes. Motion was made by Jake Dunham to approve minutes, second made by Jodie Westfall.
Motion carried.
Membership Update
Patricia Williams-Left Physical plant and moved to Human resources. There will be a special election within the President’s Unit, will have new senator for November meeting.
Old Business
Mission statement review- Compared original and the proposal, disccussion held. Jake motioned to put “free” back into our mission statement, Barbara Torrence second. Motion carried.
New Business
Action project
-Michael suggested updating colros and logos around campus
-Jake suggested revisiting the staff survery
-Signs for streets were discussed for high traffic areas
-Continued discussion in November meeting

Making Magnolia Blossom Big Splash for this Saturday has been postponed due to weather until November 21st.

The motion to adjourn was made by Julie Nipper with a second by Jake Dunham. The next Staff Senate meeting will be Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Reynolds 205.
