Other
Questions from the Senate
At last month’s meeting, a staff member had asked why there wasn’t any place on campus to buy the local and state paper. Shelly Whaley had heard from Michael Everhart at the Bookstore about the issue. He had also been talking about having papers in the bookstore but there are some logistic problems to work out. There was a discussion among the senators about how to work the situation out, but nothing was decided. Shelly will be checking on it again and report at the next meeting.

Shelly Whaley announced that invitations to the Founder’s Day picnic will be sent out soon. She also asked for any volunteers to help with the activities for the day.
Founder’s Day
Shelly Whaley also announced that tickets to the hamburger supper for the Founder’s Day picnic were being sold. She also went over more details about the picnic and the Tracy Lawrence concert. Also, during Spring Fling, students will be involved in events that will highlight the centennial of the university.
Adjournment
The motion to adjourn was made by Donald Wray and seconded by Marcela Brunson. The next scheduled meeting will be April 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Reynolds 205
