Access to 240 Tutoring
Candidates are provided access to 240 Tutoring through their academic advisor. This is a monthly practice website for all Praxis II Content Exams, Pedagogy Exams, and the Foundations of Reading exam. Please reach out to your academic advisor to gain access to 240 Tutoring.
PrepStep Instruction
- Go to the homepage of the Magale Library.
- Under Popular Databases on the right side of the page, click PrepStep.
- PrepStep will ask you to register, click on the register (Or login if you have already registered)
- Use your email address and create a password. (Minimum of 10 characters, containing one Capitol letter and one number)
- Under the All Centers drop box located near the top of the page, click on Career Center.
- Click on Preparation for Occupation Exams.
- Scroll to the bottom left side of the page, click on Teaching.
- Click on Prepare for the Praxis CORE Tests. There are four practice tests for each exam (Reading, Writing and Math).
- Click on Prepare for the Praxis II Subject Assessments. There are sample tests for Elementary Education, Middle School Content and the Principles for Learning and Teaching (PLT).
Mometrix Praxis Study Guides:
Praxis 5001 study guide is available in our e-book collection, Mometrix eLibrary, which includes study materials and practice tests for Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
- Go to the Magale Library homepage: https://web.saumag.edu/library/
- Under the “Electronic Resources” menu, select “E-Book Collections by Title.”
- Once you arrive at the E-Book Collections by Title webpage, select “Mometrix eLibrary”
- Once you arrive at the Mometrix eLibrary, select the “Teaching” study guides
- Once you arrive at the Teaching guides list, select the link of the study guide you want to view
EBSCO’s EBook Education Collection Praxis materials:
- Go to the Magale Library homepage: https://web.saumag.edu/library/
- Under the “Electronic Resources” menu, select E-Book Collections by Title
- Once you arrive at the E-Book Collections by Title webpage, select “eBook Education Collection”
- Once you arrive at the search screen, select “Full Text” under “Limit your results”
- Search for “Praxis”
- To open an ebook, select the title link for the resource you want to view
