The ERZ is a multiyear PreK-16 initiative founded by the state of Arkansas to help improve public school performance and student academic achievement. This is a collaborative effort between renewal zone partners, including the Arkansas Department of Education’s Division of ERZ, institutions of higher education (IHEs), regional education service cooperatives (ESCs), other technical assistance provider entities, schools, and participating communities.
To articulate the resources of Southern Arkansas University and our education service centers for our partner schools in order to facilitate overall school performance.
We believe that all students will learn when they are provided with appropriate pedagogy, technology, and a positive learning environment. It is our responsibility as educators to hold high expectations and accountability for all.
