Individual Counseling
Professional Licensed counselors are available for students, faculty and staff to talk openly about a range of issues:
- Resolving conflict
- Solving problems
- Handling crisis situations
- Making decisions
- Depression
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Psychoeducational
- Mood disorders
- Developing coping skills
- Connecting to additional resources
Students are occasionally referred off-campus to appropriate community agencies.
Group Counseling
Group therapy is an opportunity for people to interact in a safe environment. Groups allow for shared experiences, supportive feedback and may help members develop a plan of action. Topics will vary.
Additional opportunities throughout the year may include:
- Workshops
- Classes
- Skill building groups
- Support groups
Presentations
Counselors may be available to present to classes or organizations. Please call or stop by to discuss a request. Topics may vary based on the need of the class or organization.
Virtual Counseling
Virtual Counseling is available upon request as long as the recipient is physically located in the state of Arkansas at the time of the appointment.
