The office of Rep. Crawford seeks qualified applicants who possess strong communication skills, are interested in learning about the legislative process, and are willing to work in a fast-paced office. This internship program offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in a congressional office. Interns assist with legislative research, constituent correspondence, and day-to-day functions of the office. As a result, interns learn about the legislative process and develop transferable skills that are valuable for any future career.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones
- Log constituent messages
- Leading tours of the Capitol
- Attend Briefings
- Conduct research
- Additional tasks to assist the Congressman’s staff
Internship Details:
- January – April
- Washington, DC
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate/Graduate students or recent graduates from any major
- Arkansas ties are preferred but not required
