ArcBest is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Intern for the Summer of 2026. The Intern, Supply Chain will participate in a 10-week summer rotational program or 16-week semester rotational program. This internship offers a comprehensive overview of key departments within the organization, including Customer Solutions, Business Development, Truckload, and Managed Solutions. Throughout the program, this position will gain practical experience in supply chain operations, develop a strong understanding of ArcBest’s processes, and contribute to projects that support business objectives. This internship is designed to provide exposure to best practices across departments while enhancing problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. At the conclusion of the program, the Intern, Supply Chain will complete a final project focused on process improvement, customer experience, or other strategic initiatives, and present their recommendations to company stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Learn about ArcBest and our approach to customer success.
- Participate in departmental rotations to gain insight into various supply chain functions.
- Support teams with day-to-day operations and ongoing projects.
- Analyze data and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer and operational needs.
- Prepare and present a final project summarizing key learnings and proposed improvements.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a college degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
