The role of the Help Desk intern is to provide first-line support for all staff at the Cooperative Extension Service. They are responsible for logging incidents and service requests, resolving support requests, and ensuring service levels and targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Responding to service requests via TeamDynamix ticketing system, Bomgar, phone, email, or in-person.
- Providing technical assistance for questions and problems.
- Resolving problems with local networks and other computer systems.
- Computer and software support.
- Installing or changing software to fix issues.
- Resolving issues with printers, copiers, and scanners.
- Diagnosing system errors and other problems.
- Following up with customers to ensure complete resolution of issues.
- Provide assistance with user account management, adhering to all security policies, and maintaining account security.
- Accurately recording, updating, and documenting requests using the IT Help Desk ticket system.
- Assist with State Office networking tasks as assigned.
- Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
