Never forget to check the discount sections in clothing stores. You can also find affordable options online through resale sites like Poshmark or ThredUp.

Use the SAU Career Closet

SAU has its own Career Closet! Located on campus, it’s a free resource where students can “shop” for gently used professional clothes donated by faculty, staff, alumni, and community members that students are able to keep for free.

You’ll find everything from suits and blouses to shoes and ties, perfect for interviews, career fairs, and presentations. And the best part? You get to add the pieces you find to your now-growing professional wardrobe.
