Career Services and SAU Alumni have partnered to create a Student-Alumni Mentorship program called Career AIM: Alumni Inspiring Muleriders. This mentor program will allow our alumni to connect individually with current Muleriders and new graduates to share valuable lessons and skills they have learned after their time at SAU. Students will benefit from gaining knowledge, networking skills, and experience through this program.
Student Requirements:
- Must be a Junior, Senior, or a Graduate student enrolled at SAU
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Must be able to connect with your mentor regularly
How does it work?
- Students who want to participate will submit the form to the Career Services office.
- A compatibility matrix will be implemented to match mentors with students based on their major, career interest, commitment length, and where the student plans to live post-graduation.
- Once all mentors have been matched with their mentees, all will be required to attend a launch event in person or online.
- Each pair will be required to have at least one meaningful meeting each month. This meeting can be in person or online, and the goals will be set to guide each meeting.
