Career Services selects a designated number of students for each academic year who serve as Career Service Ambassadors. The ambassador’s purpose is to help promote the services and workshops that our office offers. They also serve as mentors for other students. To apply, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and be at least a sophomore.
Responsibilities:
As a ambassador you will volunteer at events like Career Fair; help promote events and workshops (social media, word of mouth, etc.); host company reps at events; provide insight and feedback from other students; help with the planning of events; assist with content creation for social media; attend professional development session with Career Services; contribute to Career Services blog; present one workshop per semester; and meet briefly with Career Services once a month.

Requirements for each CAP member:
- Attendance at Career Fairs and events
- Promotion of Career Services events
- Assist with tabling
- Creation/execution of one event per semester – approved by Career Services
- Contribute to Social Media posts
- Handshake activation and promotion
- Complete professional development training with Career Services
- Resume documents, interview skills, and overall professionalism
- Meet once a month with Career Services
- Contribute one blog post per semester
