El Dorado Metals of Arkansas is seeking to hire a key member of the staff who assists the Project Manager in all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and documentation while also handling administrative tasks and supporting project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Engineering or a relevant field of study OR Associates Degree with work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Candidate must be strong in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Possess Strong Multi Tasking Skills – Will accept assignments and can work several assignments simultaneously and effectively.
- Problem solving skills and ability to identify and resolve quickly.
- Must be a self starter and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Help coordinate project tasks and deliverables.
- Track project progress and identify potential issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and status reports.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Manage project schedules and resources.
- Organize meetings and prepare agendas.
- Assist with invoicing and budgeting
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between different teams and departments.
- Laise with vendors and suppliers.
- Other Duties:
- Analyze data and prepare reports.
- Assist with problem solving and risk management.
- Ensure project compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of Pre-Qualification documentation for all general contractors.
