Nathan comes to Southern Arkansas University after 13 years of professional practice in user experience design and visual communication disciplines. He has professionally designed mobile apps that interface with extensive amounts of user data, as well as redesigned Fortune 500 corporate websites dealing with the stringent regulations required. As a creative director and visual craftsman, Nathan has helped create and maintain design and marketing standards allowing companies to envision their future through design and efficient planning.
He earned his BFA in Graphic Design from Abilene Christian University, and his MFA in Visual Communication from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he later taught. He has also taught at Collin College in Dallas, Texas. Nathan loves to build excitement with his students around design, while helping ready them for a professional debut.
