About Drawn Together
(From the Students)
During a time of great change and adversity, we as artists have come together to share in our artistic pursuits and struggles, and through that, our art has evolved and grown stronger. From difficulty, our passions blossomed into intricate talents that only we can achieve. We developed as artists, not independently, but as a community. As a family.
As we look back on our years at Southern Arkansas University, we will see a time of change. A time of evolution. We will see strength and weakness and growth. We will see how we as artists have persevered in the face of struggle and disarray to birth from that time of chaos a new understanding of not only ourselves and our artistic talents, but each other as well.
We as a class, though separated by 6 feet or 600 miles, have learned the true meaning of camaraderie and collaboration. We learned that despite the distance between us, we can still learn from each other and help each other evolve and grow. We, despite having been separated, have found ourselves drawn together.
