Description: Southern Arkansas University, a NCAA Division II member institution and member of the Great American Conference (GAC) is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Football Coach (O-Line Coach). Candidates will be expected to be in full compliance of the University, NCAA and GAC regulations.
Duties: work directly with the Head Coach in formulating game plans and scouting opponents; implementing weekly game plan pertaining to offense; classroom setting film review of practices and games; must be willing to work tirelessly and cohesively with the entire coaching staff and the administration of the university; have a sincere interest in the development of student-athletes, discipline and mentoring the players on offense and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree required; demonstrate evidence of successful experience in coaching; record of success in collegiate and/or interscholastic coaching; effective communication, excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; knowledge of Hudl, Excel and Word; interpersonal skills and commitment to total success of students.
