Disc Golf
The SAU Disc Golf team was established in 2017. The University provides an 18-hole disc golf course for students to use.
- Disc Golf is similar to golf; instead of using golf clubs and balls aiming for a hole, disc golf players use golf discs and aim for a basket.
- SAU has their own 18-hole course on campus that is open yearround for play.
- There are rated rounds weekly on SAU Disc Golf Course.
- The team compete at local, state, regional and national collegiate levels.
- Disc Golf Team plays in Southern Collegiate Disc Golf Association and in College Disc Golf.
