2024 Mulerider Orientation
BAM is your beginning to becoming a Mulerider! We look forward to seeing you at BAM and helping you with your next step toward officially enrolling at SAU. Dates fill fast, so don’t delay registering for BAM! The 2024 dates are June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, and July 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25.
BAM Registration for Fall 2024 will open in the application portal February 1, 2024.
Why is orientation important?

- Tours: BAM Leaders will offer tours of the campus and residence halls.

Welcome to SAU! Each year, SAU accepts a new class of students into the Mulerider family. Orientation will help incoming freshman and transfers alike adjust to life at SAU and make lasting connections. Help us continue our great tradition of a diverse and close-knit educational community, register for orientation now.
From the Mulekick, to bed races, to mulegating, to the Celebration of Lights, orientation will introduce incoming students to a variety of traditions near and dear to all SAU alumni. To learn more about SAU’s rich history and famed mascot, visit the University Archives website.
Your BAM experience will be led by a variety of groups from across campus. Current students will provide tours of campus and introductions to SAU activities and traditions. Advising will help you create your schedule of classes. You’ll meet faculty and housing staff, talk about financial aid, student services, and much more.
