Blackboard is the learning management system (LMS) used to support all courses at Southern Arkansas University (SAU). Course shells are created in Blackboard for all in-person, online, and hybrid courses.
The most important thing about publishers’ digital materials is that they typically have their own technical support teams, which is important because SAU’s support teams do not have access to troubleshoot. Qwickly Attendance
All face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses in Blackboard have access to Qwickly, a digital attendance tracking and grading tool. Faculty can create seating charts or generate QR codes for students to scan to “check in” for attendance.

All SAU faculty and students have access to a full license of Microsoft Teams, which can be used for:
- Live class meetings
- Virtual office hours
- Lecture capture and sharing
Microsoft Teams is fully integrated with your SAU account and offers a reliable, flexible platform for online communication and collaboration. This video demonstrates how to record in Microsoft Teams for importing into YuJa, which allows faculty to post the recording or create video assignments. Zoom cloud recordings should automatically import into the My Media area of your YuJa account.
