U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln will speak to students on the campus of Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 10.

Brigette Biley – Miss SAU 2006
Brigette La’Kimya Biley was crowned Miss Southern Arkansas University on Oct. 20, 2005, on the stage of Harton Theater at SAU.
Brigette is the 23-year-old daughter of Sam and Rose Biley of Magnolia. She is a 2001 graduate of Magnolia High School and a December 2005 graduate of SAU with a B.S.E. in mathematics education.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the grand opening celebration of the Mulerider Stables held on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Southern Arkansas University.

Dr. Suzanne Jessup to speak at December graduation Friday
Honor Professor 2005 Dr. Suzanne Jessup will be the guest speaker at the December 2005 commencement ceremony to be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in the W.T. Watson Athletic Center on the campus ofSouthern Arkansas University.
Jessup is a retired professor of education andserved as the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher
