You have recently received an alert that your @muleriders.saumag.edu account is scheduled for deletion. This is a legitimate email and a necessary step to take to control Microsoft licensing and secure the SAU network systems.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to export your mailbox from Office 365. For most users, we recommend forwarding only important messages from the school account to a personal account. That process can be seen here:
Process Steps
- Select the message you’d like to save
- Click the Forward icon at the top of your screen, or within the email display area
- Type your personal email address and click Send. The message will arrive in your personal mailbox shortly

Moving messages using Mozilla Thunderbird
Process Steps
- Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird
- Add both SAU Muleriders and Personal accounts to Thunderbird
- Drag and Drop emails between accounts; if moving folders, the first Drag and Drop will only create the folder and you will need to Drag and Drop again to move the contents
- Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A to select all messages when needed
PST Export
In the case that you would like your entire mailbox exported, ITS is willing to accommodate. We can administratively initiate an export that will generate a .PST archive of the mailbox. We will provide this PST file to you over a secure OneDrive share; you will need to download the file within 7 days of creation. It will be up to you to save this PST file and either add it to your mail program as an offline archive or upload it to your cloud mail provider. ITS will not be able to assist beyond providing the PST archive.- MailStore Home is a free product that will allow you to view the archive and migrate them to a cloud account.
