Early Decision Checklist
To participate, complete the following on or before February 10, 2025:
- Apply and be admitted to Southern Arkansas University
- Complete the FAFSA
- Apply for Housing (or meet commuter requirements)
- Register for BAM (Becoming A Mulerider) Freshman Orientation
Early Decision Benefits
The first 200 students who complete the Be First, Go Blue Checklist on or before the deadline will receive:
- Priority Housing Selection: Choose your preferred living arrangements early.
- Declining Balance [$150] added to your account.
- Exclusive Student/Family Signing Day Luncheon: Connect with campus leadership at lunch with SAU’s president and select staff and faculty. This special event is a fantastic way to engage with SAU’s community and build relationships with key decision-makers.
- BAM Registration Fee Waived
- Free Campus Merchandise: Receive a school spirit package to show your pride.
Eligibility
To qualify for these benefits, students must complete the Early Decision checklist on or before February 10, 2025, and be among the first 200 that complete ALL requirements.
How to Apply
The Office of Admissions will monitor the Early Decision checklist and once you have completed the requirements you will automatically be considered.
