Rami Alroobi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Math and Computer Science at Southern Arkansas University. Dr. Alroobi received his PhD degree from North Dakota State University, NDSU. He received his M.Sc. in computer science and engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a B.Sc. in computer engineering from the I.U. in Gaza, Palestine. His research interests lie in the field of Bioinformatics and Data mining. Dr. Alroobi has a publication record of investigating important bioinformatics topics, particularly in analyses and discovering patterns in biological networks. In-depth analysis of such networks lays the groundwork for and is vitally important to understanding many biological processes. Moreover, he has a teaching experience both in the United States and overseas for more than 5 years. Furthermore, he has managerial experience serving as the deputy head of the computer science department at the faculty of Information technology at I.U. in Gaza.
